This is the post you have all been waiting for. The post to explain why all of you should come and
visit us in our new little town of Bethlehem. Now most of you are probably breaking out your maps and saying, "Where the heck is Bethlehem?" A lot of people have cracked the joke, "Is it next to Jerusalem?" Well, actually that's not too far fetched. It's located in the Lehigh (pronounced Lehi) Valley, it's south of Nazareth and the Road to Emmaus is to the West. John-David will be working at St. Luke's hospital. Now that we have all the bad Bible humor out of the way, I'll tell you where it's located in reference to things you would know which actually brings me to the first point of why you would want to come visi
t us: location. It's about 45 minutes north of Philadelphia and about 1 1/2 hours west of New York city. Hershey, PA is about 2 hours to the west and for all of you Office fans, Scranton, PA is about 1 1/2 hours to the north. For all of you who have never seen any of these places, here's your chance.
Now if those places weren't enticing enough we have some more local attractions. The neighboring town of Easton is home of the Crayola Factory. You could see how crayons are made just like you did on Reading Rainbow as a kid. The Poconos are just up the way for all of you who want to take a second honeymoon. If you like a good old fashion covered bridge, Bethlehem has a whole driving tour of them. What better time to see it but in the fall. Who doesn't love a nice Eastern fall.... never seen one? Here's your chance.
Too busy in the Fall? Well this isBethlehem and Christmas is a big thing here, as you can imagine. They actually celebrate it not only in December but November as well. If any of those things didn't persuade you, you could always come to see our family! We are entertaining and we will be arriving to the area some time in June so let us know when you'll arrive.

I'm convinced! The hospital is in a great location nestled in the hillside. Blake is now singing some Billy Joel song entitled.."Allentown" where he talks about this little place.(we think)
Right when you said Crayola that was my first thought the show that they showed how to make crayons, but wasn't that on seasame street. I want to come visit. I have never been to New York Chris has no desire to go so we will have to plan it.
So FUN! We can't wait for you to be here! I hope once you get here JD will have some time to venture to NY while we watch the kids!!

Wow, sounds like lots of fun things to keep you busy. You won't be that far from Addy it sounds like :) I would love to come and visit. Nicole, if you go I will plan on meeting you there!!!! Good luck in the move!
I love this part of the country. The city so beautiful. I was excited when you posted that was were you got to go. I love the homes there they have a lot of character. The airport is great too, but I do know that Allentown and Bethlehem are crazy about recycling, so get your green on!
you know if going to visit family wasn't enough, the crayola factory drew me in. Pete actually makes me stop and watch that episode if it is ever on. Maybe I'll come be a live-in babysitter for 8 wks on one of my last rotations...
Look at all those rolling hills:) Sounds like fun...I would love to visit:)!!!
You are such an enticing writer--you had me captivated. It sounds like a great location. I'll bet you're super excited. However, we will miss you guys around here.
