We celebrated Jocelyn's birthday on the 15Th with a Winter party. She couldn't decide between Strawberry Shortcake, Fairies or a Winter Party. Ultimately, she decided with a Winter party. My sister's daughter had a Winter party last year so we just copied the ideas so it was really easy to plan.
Different people had the camera throughout the party so I was at the mercy of whatever they felt like photographing. Some were good, others not so much. My son would fit in the latter category.
The kids started out by making snowflakes out of foam and glitter. I forgot to take photos of that so just imagine. Then we chucked tissue snowballs at the snowmen trying to knock the balls off their heads.
Then we had races making snowman by wrapping the kids in toilet paper
and putting a hat, scarf and gloves on each snowman.
Then the kids tried to walk like penguins by putting beanbags on their feet.
Some got creative and put it between their knees.
We then had a snow fight with the toilet paper and tissue paper.
To calm down the crowds, we played a little Snow bingo.
After the bingo Jocelyn opened the presents. The kids were so cute about the presents.
They were so excited and often told her what it was before she could even open them.
We finished off with a little Igloo cake and ice cream.
As part of the goodie bag, we included a fleece scarf. They were so cute but unfortunately
I didn't get a picture of any of them. We did however got a photo of Jocelyn
enjoying one of her new presents. Happy Birthday Jocelyn.
